room divider - Our current project
Here’s a quick look at what we’ve got going on in the workshop this week.
We were commissioned to produce this irregularly shaped room divider with a variety of differently sized open cubbies to house books and to display stuff. It’s going to be installed in a beautiful open-plan rural property in Kent – the idea is for it to create a bit of zoning. Don’t be fooled by the dull colour of our premium moisture-resistant panels used to construct it, the furniture will be pro spray finished in sleek matt white – it’s going to look super cool when it’s done.
Waterfall

The divider will sit atop this solid ash statement countertop we glued up yesterday. We’re going to pull out the clamps today and plan to seamlessly ‘waterfall’ the timber over one edge. If you’re unsure what I mean, then stick around for the beauty shots I’ll post once it’s all done. The space below will house a deep storage cabinet and, err… a dog cage. Yeah, I’d not heard of this before either – it’s a kinda indoor kennel. Follow the blog to see the finished piece installed – and with the dog too.
